The Old Town pump, actually. People still come by with containers to fill with fresh water. In past times, this square was the scene of good, bad, and ugly events. Now is a good time, with elegant restaurants, the Swedish Academy, and no recent wars. The building in the background does have a cannon ball lodged in the corner still. Someone from Nobel was kind enough to show me where it is located, as I'd read of it and heard the local legend. It is there.
